How I Edited The Piece:
The first thing I did was to drag all the performance shots from the bins, I used different bins to organise my footage, this saves time looking through all the footage to find the certain shots I want; I then dragged the footage I needed to the timeline and get them in sync with the music, I did this because the timing of the clips need to be in time so the performers mouth is singing the same as the track. After that I cut the clips to the beat so the edit had rhythm and was comfortable to watch, I made sure that i used a lot of close-ups to emphasise the star iconography this was mainly the master shot. I the used 2-3 seconds of the cutaway footage and added in certain bits of the sequence to spruce it up a little, after this I added effects and transitions to it such as colour corrections and the mirror effect and fade in fade out; I did this to add a more cinematic look to it. I then used automation with some effects of some clips using keyframes to make some of the clips stand out.
